Tella celebrates Super Eagles call-up with a goal as Bayer Leverkusen get closer to ending Bayern Munich’s reign
Super Eagles forward Nathan Tella scored the first goal for Bayer Leverkusen in their 2-0 win over Wolfsburg in the German Bundesliga.
Tella has slowly found a way into Bayer Leverkusen's first team after playing a peripheral role in the first half of the season. His consistency earned him a place in the Super Eagles squad for the upcoming international friendly games against Ghana and Mail.

Once again, he made Bayer Leverkusen's first eleven in their game against Wolfsburg at Bay arena. Historically, the tie has always been a tough one for Bayer Leverkusen, but with their form this season they were favourites to pick all three points from the game.
Florian Wirtz scored the second goal for Bayer Leverkusen in the 86th minute, and that was enough to seal the victory for Die Werkself. They have a ten-point gap between themselves and Bayern Munich with nine games left till the end of the season.
