Frank Lampard receives big boost

     Ahead of Aston Villa showdown,
Chelsea were in rampant form as they demolished Queen's Park Rangers at Stamford Bridge on Sunday with a key man returning.

The many positives in Chelsea’s warm up win over Queen’s Park Rangers is the return of a key player was one of the biggest.

Two goals each from Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Billy Gilmour and further strikes from Mason Mount, Willian and Olivier Giroud inspired the Blues to a 7-1 victory at Stamford Bridge.

As pleased as Frank Lampard would have been with his team’s display, N’Golo Kante’s first appearance will be a major boost as Chelsea prepare for Saturday’s trip to Aston Villa.

There were fears Kante wouldn’t return to complete this season as he chose not to resume training with the rest of his team-mates due to coronavirus fears.
